So you’re not married yet?

No. But luckily we can get married in Argentina and start the CR1 if that's the most convenient one. We were thinking about K1 and yesterday my fiance talked to a lawyer to check if we were doing everything ok and she recommended us to do the CR1

Hi. I filed for a K1 visa not sure if you are filing for that or the CR1 my fiancee country is Ecuador obviously her country is all spanish. I have petition her on November got approved in March with no problem using this service:

https://www.translateday.com/

They have the seal of USCIS on their page meaning that they know what there doing for immigration. They certified the translation however it has a cost normally the respond in 2-3 days.

If you can translate I think there no problem with USCIS, however In my case I wanted to give the impression that I invested on this process to get a swift approval also looks profesional.

I hope this help

Both Visas have pro and cons. Choose the one that suits you better.

For the most part one process y shorter than the other however the longest which is the CR1 includes the green card from the start which is really good.

Before you file any documents to USCIS you must translate anything that is not in english  to them.

Which one to file is up to you guys. Similar process and wait times. As soon as you get married, the petitioner should come back to the states as quickly as possible to file. Argentina embassy does not accept filings. Good luck!

I am case complete with Costa Rica so all Spanish docs and convos.

For USCIS, I translated the official docs myself and had them notarized with my signature. I wrote a note saying I’m competent to translate with the date. I did not translate conversations. I had no RFEs.

For NVC, I did not translate docs. No RFE and currently awaiting interview.

Best of luck!

I had all official documents translated.

Chats don’t need to be as the content doesn’t matter, just the dates.  They want to see regular communication but not read the actual conversations.

Every legal document in another language other than English must be translated. However, we submitted text messages that are in Spanish and we didn’t translate and had no issues. I assume they wouldn’t expect someone to translate so many pages of text messages, what it costs per page to have something translated, that would cost fortune.

Text Messages are not primary evidence, they only show you communicate.

My marriage certificate was in Spanish and it along with his birth certificate and police report were accepted.  This for my final steps at the NVC
