In the first post of this thread it is suggested that we update our email address by going to the "ask NVC" section of their website. Others have suggested to send an email to NVC. Which one did you do? I have done the first so just curious about what yall went for 😅

Also, I have seen many "April fool approvals" like ours 😁. I was wondering when are yall going to give NVC a call about your case? I was thinking around Friday next week?

I gave it 10 working days then I started calling your 10 working days ends 15 April I would start then! It does no harm calling earlier as you can only benefit from it should your case be there!!! Either the inquiry form or an email is fine I sent emails too, they did answer my emails.

Just additional question, for my certificate of no marriage, the purpose i put is for travel in US. Should i get a new one indicating a purpose for "k1 visa and marriage abroad"?

They say it does not matter what the purpose is, but for our piece of mind we got a new cenomar using the purpose K1 visa, better be safe than sorry.

Got my NOA2 letter in the mail. Neither website updated so was really surprised when I saw it. NOA1   12/18/2018   NOA2   04/02/2019. A hell of a lot faster then I ever thought. Can't stop smiling.

Did you fire off that email yet to NVC?

I'm so confused now... So if I got NVC number, can I already pay fee and fill DS-160? And another question: can someone else pay Visa fee for me? I'm in Crimea with no banks that are good for paying fee. And closest one is like 8 hours away 😢

People. Please spend time reading the thread as this topic and other's like it are asked over and over with an answer being the same for each time it is asked. Once you receive your case number you can begin the process FOLLOWING what is outlined in the P3 letter or what is specified on your Embassy' website. Some embassy's require you to wait until "their" requirements that are outlined in the P3 are met until you are allowed to pay your fee and schedule your interview. Others will allow you to pay and schedule your interview at will. Not reading the embassy website, their P3 or asking others in the sub-forum for your country will not end well.

The DS - 160 is a document that stands alone. It does not affect anything. You can't use it to find any information about your case. You can't use it for anything other than for its original intent and that is for the CO to use during your interview to adjudicate your case. It does not need to be finished at the moment you receive your case number or to do anything else but needs to be completed for the interview and it can be completed between case number issuance to the day before your interview.

Is the 'medical summary' the same as the 'vaccination record'?

I went to collect my vaccination record last week.

No, ask for your “Medical/Patient Summary”. You will need to book an appointment with your doctor for them to sign for it.

Thank you, I will try to get an appointment tomorrow.

I wonder why on: https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/medical-examination/ the 'medical/patient summary' isn't asked for, just the vaccination record?

Not sure - but Knightsbridge ask for it (http://www.visamedicals.co.uk/us-bring.htm).

@Greenbaum Thank you (and to everyone who contributed/share their experience and knowledge) for helping us (all filers) in our journey of a lifetime. I've been a silent reader for awhile and Visa Journey helped me and my Fiance a lot by educating us as to what would transpire during this process. For free.

I sent all original receipts (hotels we stayed at, restaurants etc.) and paper works for the gifts he sent via Amazon to my Fiance when we filed for I129F last year but photocopied everything just in case. Do you think I need the originals on the interview in case they ask for more proof or the photocopies would suffice?

I might just overthinking but I appreciate your thoughts on this.
