hey guys,

This I-864 is giving me a huge headache and a great amount of stress.

My mom (joint sponsor) filed her taxes jointly with my dad. I tried getting her IRS transcript online but the website blocked me saying that the information I provided didnt match (which is false). So now I can't get the transcript that would've made my life easier.

Part 6. Sponsors Employment and Income asks to provide total income for 3 recent years.

WHERE do I find this information ? Form 140 Line 22 shows income from BOTH of my parents, but I only need my moms.

Can this be found on her W-2 ?

I just can't figure any of this out and I've been stuck on this for about a week and I am beyond confused...

Also, since I can't get her IRS transcript, what should I send with her I-864 ? Latest W-2 and pay stubs ?

PLEASE HELP !

You sure you use the exact address used on her tax return to get the tax transcript? Anyway you need to submit W2 with Tax forms. And only current year tax filings is required.

I live with her, so yes, the address was correct. Would 1040 qualify as tax forms ??

Not usually.  If you are not able to download them your mom can get them by mail.

I know , but that is extra waiting time.. and I really just want to get this AOS going. I mean she has all the tax things, but its in a huge folder because my parents filed jointly, and also have their own business (on top of my mothers job.

If you submit tax forms you have to submit every single page submitted to IRS. I know my tax forms were 79 pages no way I was sending that so I got my transcript it was 4 pages.

Mailing to you takes about 1 weeks. Just order by mail.

Submit a request online: https://sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof-tra/login

Will come to your mailing address in 5-7 days.

Also the name and address have to match exactly. Try getting your parents free credit report from Equifax and use exact details.

As for cardno/loan no, use the one that is on teh equifax report
