Anyone else waiting for NVC welcome letter and appt from Mexico?

Hello everyone!

My spouse and I got our i-130 approved on 01/30/2019. She is in Mexico, no waiver required on our case. We filed on 09/12/2017 while living in Puerto Rico (I am a US citizen) and after Hurricane Maria hit PR we left for Mexico. So it changed from an adjustment of status (she was on a tourist visa) to a 2 step process. Finally got approved on 01/30/2019 and were told by USCIS the waiver/pardon is not required because she was never illegally in USA. 

Just wondering how much longer do you think it will take to get the welcome letter and then the appointment.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

You should be receiving your case number any day. Have you called NVC to confirm whether they have received your petition from USCIS. 

NOA1: Feb 13 2018

NOA2: Feb 15 2019

NVC Case Number assigned: Apr 3 2019

NVC IV Fees paid: Apr 5 2019

DS-260 filled: Apr 10 2019

IV Docs submitted: Apr 12 2019

IV Docs resubmitted: May 1 2019

Case complete: may 3 2019

Expedite requested: May 15 2019

Expedite approved: May 23 2019

Case sent to Consulate: May 24 2018

Case status Ready: May 28 2019

Interview date: June 20 2019

Interview status: Approved
