Hey guys! I filed for my husband in January 2019.  How long does it take for approval of I130 at the Texas office. I call every few days to stay updated and keep them on their toes. 😆 I know this takes a while I'm prepared. I was also told its being processed. Can anyone share their timeline. Also has anyone filed Janurary this year?

They probably haven't even looked at it.  Calling at this point is a waste of time and resources.

6-7 months for the i130, 8 weeks for the welcome letter and 3 months till the interview day!

It’s just how the process went for us as ours is also texas service center. Hoping my interview in May.

We filed at Nebraska Service Center but our case was later transferred to Texas and it took them 6 months to approve our case.

I would not suggest calling too often. They have a record of every time you call in and what you are calling in about. I-130 can take a while. Just have to be patient...

total time from filing I-130 to visa interview is typically 12-14 months right now

it also depends on where the interview will be as some take many months to schedule the interview

Our approval took 34 weeks from Texas, and now we're waiting to hear from the NVC honestly there is no point ringing them. Once you get Your reciept number You can check the online status. But you have a wait ahead of You lol so just use this time to visit each other. That's what we did and that helped make the process seem quicker.

At this point, that is waste of your time and their time.....Patience is a must if you want to remain sane during this process....good luck.

I filed October and still waiting. Your timeline says Nebraska so a little confused which SC you’re talking about. If it’s nebraska, the wait time is longer. I travel to see my husband every 3 months alternating between Turkey and Nigeria so that helps me with the wait.
