On the 129F form what should be the name of the country and province if my fiance lives in Lagos, Nigeria AFRICA?  I get the feeling that the country is not Africa like the country for Texas is US. Please help!

You Rock! Thank you soooo much-  😘

If I have a misdemeanor on my record that was expunged, do I have to list it on the i129F form and do any documents that I submit have to be certified other than my birth certificate?

You Rock! Thank you soooo much-  😘

Anything that was expunged must also be listed.

I recommend that you both work on it together. Once it is completed the petitioner should read through the form making 100% that his/her information is correct. Then save it and provide the beneficiary the information to open the form on their end and they then go through the document to ensure dates and names are spelled correctly. Then the beneficiary will submit the document and PRINT off the confirmation page with the barcode. That's what you will bring to the interview and present to the CO.

Other people can assist you with your DS-160 application. Note that under U.S. law (22 C.F.R. 41.103) you must electronically sign and submit your own application (the beneficiary electronically sign and submits) unless you qualify for an exemption. Even if someone else helped you complete the application, you (the beneficiary) must click the “Sign Application” button, or your application may not be accepted.

Signature. The Form DS-160 shall be signed electronically by clicking the box designated "Sign Application" in the certification section of the application. This electronic signature attests to the applicant's familiarity with and intent to be bound by all statements in the NIV application under penalty of perjury.

The country is Nigeria the province is different for each country. You can use the "city" as the substitution for the province. The Philippines has provinces as an example.
