EAD/AP Processing ( National Benefits Center)

My wife filed for her I-485, I-131, &  I-765 together at the same time.

The receipt date was November 6, 2018 from the National Benefits Center.

We were possibly thinking of going this summer to her country to visit her parents, this is why she filed for the AP I-131.

Unfortunately , her parents have become very sick and they are very old and she's worried.

We have been checking the processing times at the National Benefits Center for the I-131 and it seems to me they are getting backed up and very slow.

They are currently processing August 30,2018.

We are afraid that she will not receive her EAD/AP COMBO card before July.

Should we make an info pass appointment and ask to expedite her advance parole because of family sickness or should we wait a little while longer ?

Do you all think she will get her EAD/AP combo card within the next few months ?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !

Yes, we will try to get some doctors documents from her country.

Obviously the docs will have to be translated into English.

So, in reality you don't think she will receive the EAD/AP combo card anytime soon ?

Will try to make an infopass appointment but our local USCIS office hasn't been accepting any new appointments since the first week of February.

Is everything in USCIS BACKED UP NOW ??

Many field offices stopped accepting infopass appointments online, and all are planned to stop doing so by the end of the year. You have to call USCIS to request an appointment now.

Yes, everything with USCIS is backed up. It always has been, with periods of being less backed up and more backed up.
