How long does it take to hear a response back after you mail in your k1 Visa application?

Did you use tracking to send it your petition?

Usually the standard is give or take 2 weeks for them to receive it in the California Service Center from the Dallas lockbox.

Then the wait for an approval etc will vary but right now it's at 6-8 months if I'm not mistaken.

Try building your timeline so we can help you and better answer your questions throughout the process. :)

I sent it certified mail. That's it

You didn't also send in G1145? If not expect within 30 days to get the I797 letter with your receipt notice. Depending on service center should get adjudicated in 6 to 8 months.

Ok its March 23 and I haven't received anything yet. I mailed my k1 application on March 1. Should I be worried?

Again, have they cashed your check?

Then since you didn't include the notification form, you will have to wait for the paper copy of the NOA1.  Do you have informed delivery with USPS?  It is free to sign up.

This is nerve wrenching. I'm going nuts.

USPS informed delivery is a service where you can view images of your expected mail in the morning before it is delivered.  At least that way you will know when to expect it.
