I'm right there with you!!!

Maybe I can help with the following information. To know if your case is "ready" for interview and it's at your embassy go to ceac.state.gov and search using "immigrant" and enter your case number and or your DS-160 confirmation number. Once you have the status you will see where the file is. It could still be at NVC or it could be sitting at the embassy.

Average wait time from when embassy receives the application is 6-8 weeks.  Average time to be sent to Ghanaian embassy from NVC is 1 month.  Therefore applicants should expect 3 months from NVC till receiving the P3.  Interview slots are very limited for this embassy, so it is advised for applicants that believe that they are a "strong applicant" to proactively schedule their interview date three months out to secure a date and time.

These are all my learnings thus far through the painstaking  process......

Thank you so much for all of this information. My case has been "ready" online since 2/26. I've talked to NVC and they have it in there notes the embassy has already contacted us however they have not. They suggested that we call the embassy, which I did and was only told to keep waiting. Praying to hear something soon!

Yeah, I think you'll just have to keep waiting until you get an email. The process sucks so I understand your frustration but that's just the nature of US immigration. Don't worry; you'll hear from them soon.

Ok thats good i will be waiting from them also theyve open up a profile for me and email me with the notification of the login and passport

Dont schedule an appt untill you hear from them. But in the mean time you can do a police report. Also the affidavit of support has to be original dont send a scanned copy. Have it mailed or have someone bring it to you. We waited for about 9 weeks so its Normal processing for Ghana. If you go before they email you they will send you back home lol

lol i am patiently waiting on them, i have done my report and will make sure my fiancee mail the affidativ of support .

Nope they said i should just keep checking my email even though they created a profile for me over the phone . so i guess i need to fold my arms and wait until they contact me

FYI,the pack 3 email would be sent to the petitioner in the States and not the beneficiary,so pls be telling your fiancé to be checking his or her mail. Also to know your pack 3 has been sent, your profile would be updated by taking note of the date you last checked and the date checking now
