I know medicine affects us all differently,  but for me oxycodone and hydrocodone "feel" like they are doing nothing if I take only one 5/325.  But if I take two, I can actually "feel" the medicine, and pain relief is there.  If I keep taking them as scheduled, one at a time, they seem to keep the pain at bay, without the "feel" of the meds.  Gotta watch out for constipation,  of course.

Sorry to hear about your battle with the antibiotics.  What did they use that didn't set well with you?

Flagyl and Cipro. IMO it was the Cipro that did it and this was one of the drugs that they blew my IVs with and pumped it straight into my arm which swelled like a red balloon. The doctor thinks I could also have a sulfa allergy, as he typical sees this type of reaction in sulfa allergies... well I don't know what else they gave me, at some point they had five bags attached to me. I currently look like I have measles and huge patchy blotches that burn like fire. The surgeon's PA finally returned my calls and basically told me to use cream. The urgent care doctor laughed at that. I can see this is going to be a fun follow-up visit in a few days.

Thats what old people do. Get ready its coming. That day you got to go across town, and got to sit there and think about it a second, then get halfway there and realize you went way out of the way. Lol

This and my grammer fails are way more entertaining than some, not named, humorous fails,

Aww I'm old now. Bless you. (F)

Perhaps we need a complaining about health problems thread. Health problems are always a current event, yes?

it takes getting used to. like i said i am way to accustomed to meeting frothing at the mouth types who you can never have a conversation with because of blind hatred for anything liberal or democrat or obama, like its an evil word. its enough to make me never ever talk about religion or politics in real life with anyone. especially here in texas.

ever since the election i have been wondering what has happened to people in general. i dont know if its just gotten worse or if people are less afraid to show who they really are. is this a reflection of our current instagram selfie reality tv kardashian society that is fueled by this cycle of never ending talking heads telling people how to think, who to hate, and what to believe in, with the added nonsense of how easy it is to spread propaganda and real fake news? in a way i am sort of glad i will be dead in the next 30-35 years because its just so depressing now

i think i am having somewhat of an existential crisis, because i really want to see things fixed and changed, i just dont see it happening the way things are now, and i doubt any one person has the answers, i certainly dont. i just know that our government is failing us on all sides.

Interesting, because I know innumerable Trump supporters who will never say a thing in public (much less place a bumper-sticker or yard sign) because they fear being assaulted or vandalized.

I very rarely if ever post anything political on FB. I have a wide wide eclectic  group of friends, including my dead mothers gay Methodist pastor,  many younger Urban type friends from work etc etc, Some wig out at the mention of Trump
