White nationalism is no more of a rising threat than radical Islam or violent radical leftist extremism is. I would argue it is far less of a threat than those two things.

  Both "white nationalism" and "radical Islam" have influenced the president's policy and approach, obviously not in the same way. His comments (or lack thereof) and attitude on either subject are readily available.

I don't think white nationalism is a threat at all. In fact I'm a white nationalist. I'm Caucasian and I have an allegiance to my nation ahead of all others. I don't see how that is a danger or even a bad thing. I however am not a white supremacist. I believe all human beings were created equal. I think the left confuses the term "white nationalist" (the word white is added to make it sound evil) with "white supremacist". That being said I think the threat and prevalence of white supremacy is greatly over played by some. White supremacists are a small fringe segment of our population and it has been that way since the civil rights movement and the decline of groups like the KKK. Creating the boogey man of white supremacy being on the rise is a way for the left to deflect attention from their own violent fringes (antifa, ect) which actually are on the rise.

Seems like the feeling now is that we (white folks) need to apologize for being white.

If you want to look at the number belonging to any given belief system and then look further at those who have sold their soul to the cause then White Supremacists are way down there.

In my many years on this planet, I have met folks from a LOT of different walks in life.  White, black, red, yellow, brown.  Muslim, christian, buddhism, agonstic, atheist.  Hate America, love America.  Lived in several different countries.  Visited many more.  

 

And I have never met a person who claimed to be nor acted like a white supremacist.
