You can over come any obstacle really with patience and time.

Main thing is visits. Proposals and/or weddings on first visits usually are typical red flags, so again something to overcome. More in person visits is main thing you need to overcome these things.

As for lawyers, they just cost money. They don't have any power over an embassy so it's just like throwing money down the toilet honestly.

Red flag even though we’ve been online dating for 5 years? And we decided to get engaged upon our first visit?

Yes

Purely online relationships carry very little weight in this process regardless of duration. The key is being together in person. Morocco is considered a high fraud country. I agree with @Boiler, getting married and living together (whether it is Korea or elsewhere) will certainly help your case.

Don't believe anyone who says "as long as you know your love is real"...or..."you'll be be fine if you know in your heart...."    The fact is that the Consulate Officer's opinion is the ONLY one which counts.  They want to see demonstrative evidence that the relationship is real.........and they have seen all the con games (I am not saying your fiance is a con).........the very best evidence you can provide is ACTUAL FACE TO FACE time together....not online dating.  Unfortunately, this will be an expensive process because you really do need to make additional visits....good luck.

Yes.  "Online dating" has little, if any, meaning when it comes to US immigration.  Deciding to get engaged on first visit is also not particularly advisable.  An important component to successful marriage-based visas for MENA country consulates is time spent in each other's presence, around your families, etc.

You should really have more visits anyway. Chatting online with someone and living with them is two totally different things. Make sure this is what you want. Also note the financial requirements because you have kids you will need to make like 25k+ a year if you have 1 kid 29k for 2 kids etc at minimum or a co-sponsor (those aren't exact numbers but close enough to give you an idea).

So I’m not sure if I’m being clear. He is planning to go to Korea to work and I am going to be with him and in order for me to stay there I would need an E2 visa or some sort of visa I found the teaching abroad would provide that. I guess it was an extra perk knowing that they provide these as to your children and spouse after looking  into it more. It’s not the first priority just something to do in the in between time so we can be together and still be working while we wait for the immigration in the US to be processed. Would it pose any type of problem for me to do that do you think? Teaching for a year abroad in Korea and  and still be able to process the CR-1?

K1 or cr1 would be if he is immigrating to the US.. it sounds like that is not the plan for either of you guys so maybe this isn’t the correct route at this time.

There are many people on VJ that have been denied  K1 in Morocco and have gone on to be successful with a CR-1. If I were just starting this process there I would listen to their advice...

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

I'm saying with all the sympathy i have. PLEASE visit and stay together for longer than that.. Online vs in-person is completely different.

Online me and now wife, had always some issues

In-person - rarely.

Some cases are opposite and they can't stand each other in person, while online all is good.
There was another person this week with similar situation, were they were "dating" online, did k-1, helped her to get a job, AoS, Green Card, VERY SAME DAY she got green card, she cut all ties, and left him demanding divorce, then we have this thread "HOW CAN I DEPORT HIM/HER?!". People do unimaginable things, and go to an enormous extent to get that green thing. Please have additional facetime.. Have him come over for a couple months or weeks, that will show everyday life with him a bit. All little things will start to come out. Now, you don't know him.

I could literally pretend to be someone else for 5 years, and you wouldn't know, and be someone you want me to be.

There is that. Then from all the stories i read about morocco embassy, it's nearly impossible to get K-1 approved, even with substantial facetime. NOT EVEN SAYING ONE TIME VISIT. CR-1 might be a better choice, but with one-two visits, i could guarantee 95% denial.

In a nutshell, have more visits. A lot more. online dating isn't a relationship, it's chatting over the phone without physical presence. It's impossible to establish real connection thru that. I've had countless "long distance """"Dating""""". Most of them failed for a obvious reason, not being compatible in person.

All i'm saying, slow down.

I plan to go stay with him over the summer and possible for a year while I elteach abroad so I’m able to afford to be there longer.  We do FaceTime daily.  I understand what you’re saying I’ve already gone through these conversations with so many people it’s really something I’ve had to just put out of my mind altogether but it does still bother me of course.  I guess if he does something like that it would be awful but at least he would have a better opportunity in life.  I would be devestated of course but at the same time I feel like I have to always think this could be the case. I don’t see us not liking each other in person when I was there things were so much better than the online and FaceTime I just want to be there with him now and get to know him better.  He can’t come here or we would’ve tried that already.  I’m just hoping for the best and looking for support we aren’t getting married tomorrow.

Just for the waiting time. Teaching abroad contracts are only a few months to a year at a time I want to live with him and get to know him better in the waiting period

You have a plan, sadly so many on here do not, a year in Korea should give you both a proper perspective and the a body of evidence.

Facetime, i meant being face to face.
Spend time first and then make a decision. imho don't rush into marriage and take your time. we were in long distance for 4 years, going back and forth, sometimes her staying 3 months at a time, before i filed i-129f,, even though we engaged 6 months after we met.

once or twice, or even three times, won't show you the true person. You have to see how the person behaves with his parents, with his family, how are they towards him. Best indication of a person is to see how person treats  his parents and  bartenders, waiters or a servers. It takes time to see what kind of person one is. Even im, after countless visits and marriage still find something new i didn't know, not necessarily good things too.

Don't file anything yet. Wait a bit. File after summer if you'll still feel the same way.

It would be best to live with him in Korea and see how things go -then think about immigration. You would need an established residence in the US anyway. The Morocco message boards will be of big help to you for you to see what it’s like. Good luck 🙂
