Looks good to me. The only thing I hesitate about is the "periodic" joint bank statements. I've seen RFEs on that, but your other evidence looks pretty solid. We included every month's statements for two years, no RFE and were approved last month.

Credit Cards. All bank statements since the petitioner was added, probably 21 months worth if you've added right after marriage. It does sound excessive, however as someone mentioned before, people have gotten RFE's because they didn't include monthly statements.

I think child is much more string evidence than the house deed. You can add to  house deed than remove later  but child is forever.

Yes - child is great evidence if you have one. Attach birth certificate 

 

bank statements i would give them all and periodic is fine for credit cards.

 

joint utilities is a good evidence too.

We have a total of 21 joint checking account statements.  We opened our joint account about a week after my wife arrived.  I think I'll include all of them.

As I mentioned to @Dmitry07 I’m not saying birth certificates of children are useless, they of course have value.  I was simply stating, from experience in a law firm that processes immigration matters, that a child isn’t the same strength as something financial.  

 

If 2 parents get divorced, one does not gain financially bc of the child.  If 2 homeowners divorce, the financial aspect of the home comes into play.

 

@Dmitry07‘s evidence is quite strong on its own, so I wouldn’t be worried, but just pointing out the fact any 2 people can have a baby, but I wouldn’t deed out ownership to my home to someone I wasn’t confident in the relationship with.

Yes, include every single bank statement of your joint account if you have them, to be on the safe side. I plan on doing the same thing and have already copied them all, that's 6-8 pages from each month for the last 2 years... 😣

I'm just really unsure about including every single bank statement. Surely there are some people here who were approved by only sending in quarterly statements? Most old threads I've seen here recommend to just send in quarterly statements even for bank accounts. Has USCIS been getting stricter about this recently?

I remember when my ex was in the military, there as a form where you could dictate who would receive what percent of your life insurance if you were missing or killed in action. That could be just something extra if they RFE you for some reason. I don't remember if that was something that was done before you get sent off to war or if it was a basic form for them to have on file though.

Thank you. I am including something like that.  It's called arrears beneficiary. "READY-Military pay statement showing wife as my benefic."

No idea if anything has changed really, and I'm sure many people get approved without sending all statements. Like with everything else in this process I bet it depends on who your case ends up with. I have seen several cases lately where people were asked for ALL statements though, but I don't know how much proof they had other than that. Maybe they had very little in general and that's why they were asked for all of them.

 

I'm not taking any chances either way, and I have all my statements just waiting to be shipped off, so no reason for me not to do it.

It seems odd to me because our bank statements (we have 2 joint accounts) do not even show which person did which transaction, it's just one big list of transactions with no details...so in theory, it could just have both of our names on it but only one of us uses it, there's no way to show that we both use it. 🤷‍♀️ The credit card statements, however, do show this information...so it's weird that the credit card statements are not strong compared to the bank statements. In our case, the credit card statements just show much more co-mingling than the bank statements.

 

OK, so if one is sending in all bank statements, is it necessary to also send in copies of the debit cards to said accounts as well? In our case, they have different numbers.
