Hello, everyone,  my husband and i got married on 7th May, 2018. Then he submitted CR1 application for me after he return back to America.

My case was received on 22, June, 2018 and is in Nebraska service center. I have been waiting for 264 days now.

Now is almost 9 months, and everyday i check my status and always "Case was received".

When my approval can finally come? Really need how many months for Nebraska Service center to process?

If anybody have any idea, please let me know. I really feel very...super...frustrated and heart broken.... at this super long & difficult CR1 process.

You are at the "any day" point now.  However, you did not submit an application for anything.  You filed a petition for alien relative.  Only AFTER the petition is approved, does the actual visa application process begin.  USCIS does not issue visas.

Right now "normal" processing time is up to 10 months. Nebraska's current "Receipt date for a case inquiry" is May 29, 2018, so those who filed on or before May 29 2018 may now submit a case inquiry if they have not had a decision or update yet on their case.

Keep an eye on the processing dates on this:

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
If your case ends up going beyond the "Receipt date for case inquiry" date listed (probably in a month or so), then you can send a case inquiry to USCIS. Hopefully, you will be approved before then, though.

Wow, your case was received on Feb 21, 2019 and also in Nebraska ! You will have a long waiting period. I have been suffered for almost 9 months now.

I met another girl and her case is also in Nebraska, he case was received on June 8, 2018, my case was received on June 22, 2018. She has also not received "Approve" yet.

Really too slow in Nebraska service center.

Nebraska Service Center is one of the slowest service center. Forget about USCIS timelines showing in their website. They just started processing the May recently.

Potomac is the fastest SC- They are approving in less than 4 months. Currently processing November 2018.

Texas SC  is processing July 2018, 8 months

Nebraska - May 2018, 10+ months

Yes, I was unfortunate enough to get sent to Nebraska as well 😂 I'm sure the wait will become very tiring, I can see why you would be becoming impatient and frustrated. But, everything willing, hopefully your approval will come soon. It's still within normal processing time and I think most people have been taking around 9-10 months at Nebraska for approval so hopefully you are next

Yes, in last weekend i did research and  i also found some cases in April, 2018 in Nebraska haven't been approved, not to mention cases in May.

My only hope now is waiting for a “Receipt date for a case inquiry" in the table in USCIS. My date will be 5, April, 2019,  i will submit an "outside normal processing time" service request online.

I'm not sure whether Nebraska will respond to my case immediately, or continue to ignore.....otherwise why so many cases in April and May still haven't been processed.

Do you have idea about what kind of case will be requested for more Evidence? My husband and i submitted every documents they request, but we didn't submit support letters wrote by kinsmen or friends to prove relation is true because we didn't know this support letter is needed at that time. Now i see more and more applicants also submit support letters.

Submit outside normal processing time as soon as you hit your date. Really frustrating wait to stay away from loved ones..i understand..But not sure why there is such workload imbalance within service centers....Regarding RFE, What did you submit with initial petition? hope you included all required documents to avoid delays..

1 out of 6 from below should be good

Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage

1. Documentation showing joint ownership or property; or
2. A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence; or
3. Documentation showing co-mingling of financial resources; or
4. Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to you, the petitioner, and your spouse together; or
5. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship (Each affidavit must contain the full nameand address, date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner of beneficiary, if any, and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge of your marriage); or
6. Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital union

This process is really taking long. Our cases (spousal and child petition) are also being processed in Nebraska Service Center. Our receipt date was May 14, 2018. It's been 10 months already (short of 2 days) which is the max of the processing time for Nebraska displayed in the USCIS website. I created an account with the USCIS where upon checking, it indicated that my cases were updated last February 1, 2019, but I haven't received any Notice of Action via mail/email. I researched what that could mean but only found out that it doesn't necessarily mean it was approved already, there are a lot of internal movements/actions that could prompt online updates. The best thing to do is to wait for the NOA2. I'm still thinking whether to inquire about my case or just wait since it's still just a few days since they started processing May as shown on their page. Same with you, I wish there's a way to know how long this will take since we haven't really started with the visa application yet. That still is another season of waiting. Wishing you the best...and lots of patience :)

Did you submit an "outside normal processing time" service request online ? Maybe you can try to see what kind of response they will give you. Since it seems like Nebraska Service Center start to deal the cases in May, i think your case will be soon. You have child already, i strongly believe you will get an "Approve" by then.

But for me, even after long waiting, i don't know what result is waiting for me, i'm so scared to receive a request for more evidence, that means 2 or 3 more months waiting. My husband even went to see a psychological because this CR1 long waiting and no result make him can't sleep, can't focus and worry a lot.

Wish us all the best !

Haven't sent an e-request yet, but I'm planning to do so if I don't get anything in my email this month. I do hope we get approved soon. Thanks for the positive note!
Anxiety can get the best of us sometimes. We'll get through this soon. Just keep the faith.

Our receipt date was May 18 2018. We got our NOA1 within a couple days. Since then nothing.  My wife sent an e-request and received an automated response saying the USCIS will review and process the request and she is to expect a reply by March 28 2019. Hopefully that will get the ball rolling.  She tried to contact them via phone but could ONLY get a computerized voice and never a real person!!  Good luck everyone.

Congratulations! The following steps will be quick. Maybe in 60 days your case can be sent to visa center. The upload related documents including tax..... Then maybe 3 weeks to approve those documents you uploaded, then physical examination, then interview.

Maybe you still need about 4 months to finish your CR1 journey.

I sure hope you're right!! The waiting is becoming tedious!!  I'm going to pick my wife up in Arkansas in a couple weeks then take her to Fort Lauderdale to celebrate our one year anniversary.  She will then come back to Canada with me for a few weeks before I take her back across the border to Lewiston NY to the campground she works at seasonally....the same one I spend every weekend of the summer at.  Luckily I will see her every weekend until the process is over.  Hope fully they get moving and yours will be completed too.
