I was uncomfortable with the tweeting at first, but I conclude that Twitter is Pres. Trump's weapon to counteract the incessant attacks on himself and his programs.  No one else is standing up for him, after all.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

That only means that the swing to the left will be much more powerful. I don't think Trump will will win reelection, because he is just too polarizing for the country. He might remain popular with Republican voters, but that is a rapidly shrinking pool of likely voters.

Personally, I don't really care if another center right Democrat wins the presidency, I am actually more concerned with getting enough new Democrats elected to both houses of Congress, and state elections. This is the only way to realistic way to bring change to a system that is currently failing so many Americans.

I find it laughable that the likes of AOC and Bernie Sanders are being painted as some form of extremists, but nobody seems to know why they are extremists.

Many of us have given valid examples of why they are extremists. If you choose to ignore them that's on you. One big example to me is they support a form of government that says they know how to spend our money better than we do. A system that has failed miserably numerous times around the world.

Elections are a while off yet. There is plenty of time to figure out which candidate will win the nomination. Also, just because you don't feel a candidate is a strong contender, doesn't really mean very much. Nothing personal, just that baby boomers will soon will soon loose their significance, and those replacing them maybe be more to change, than previous generations. We are at a turning point in history when people will need to decide if they wish to continue with the current failing system, or demand an alternative.

I don't understand why so many demand an "alternative" that has failed horribly numerous times around the world as if it will magically work this time.

He is actually polling higher than any of the official candidates. It would be interesting to see a debate between Trump and creepy Joe. Just make sure you keep your kids away from him.

I think his tweeting (which I don't always agree with) is his way of trolling the media. And it works most of the time.

free stuff is a selfish wish not an alternative government methodology, if what the younger generation wants is a nationalization of the participation trophy mentality, perhaps it's time to just give up and open the borders and hasten our decline into mediocrity

You don't think the socialism/communism

Wait, are socialism and communism the now the same thing? This probably explains how certain people are able to claim the likes of Norway or Sweaden aren't socialist at all.  Seeing as people in both countries don't regularly die from treatable illnesses,  because of a lack of personal resources, it seems that they must in deed practice some form of socialism.

What are you referring to? Universial health care? Don't know if you read much, or even understand basic economics, but if you do. Then should understand that the US health care system as it is currently configured, is not sustainable long term.  It is also nearly twice as expensive to run, covers fewer people, and has worse health outcomes than than your socialist universal health care system as practiced in most other developed countries.

Now this strategy may play well with the extreme leftist base of the party, there are a lot of moderates and independents that want nothing to do with these free lunch programs that will cost astronomical amounts of money.

You are just repeating the same broken record. Nothing new here. Just boiler plate conservative talking points, with zero substance to speak of.

The underlying theme of conservativism seems to be about projecting their weaknesses on to everyone else. Being selfish is a corner stone of capitalism.

Riddle me this.  Why do SO MANY Canadians cross the border into the US and pay (without insurance) to get seen and be treated for their maladies, instead of just doing it for free in Canada?

Riddle me this first, why do so many Americans cross over to Mexico, to be treated for their maladies, and how is it that Rand Paul decided to get treated in a Canadian hospital?

Okay, I'll bite. What percentage of Canada's population come South for treatment, and what forms of treatment are talking? Illnesses, or mainly just non medical required treatments? Why is that every time someone points out that health comes and over all life expectancy is higher in countries with socialized health systems, yet all all the right wants to talk about is the tiny percentage that feel they aren't getting the better deal? Canada seems to used as a kind of strawman, as if unless it is one percent perfect then it must be a failure. The US system is awful, so awful in fact that not a single developed country has decided to emulate it. Yet the failure socialist systems are copied again and again. Why is that? Oh next you'll tell me how the rest of the world benefits from cheaper drugs thanks to America subsidizing them, yet nobody asks why. Why are American medications cheaper overseas, than in America? Why are medications so expensive for Americans when they often developed with the aid of large government subsidies. What do American pharmaceutical companies get of product dumping on other markets? Could there be a reason why they might do that?

Have you ever needed medical treatment and were unable to obtain it?  Because I never have.

I don’t know why drugs are cheaper in other countries.  Enlighten me.  From what I have seen, I can buy penicillin OTC in foreign countries, and it’s cheap, because everything in said foreign country is cheap.  But hopefully you can tell me why?

Big pharma is in it for profits, that’s why drugs are so expensive, overall.  Money, and lots of it, is the goal of so many human beings, eh?

Product dumping?  Not sure what you mean.

ETA: I have no idea what percentage of Canadians seek health care in the US.  But my friends near the border report on a regular basis that it is happening.  And it’s on the news.  So it must be significant.  Why?  Because Canada’s “free” health care takes months and months to obtain due to so many in line waiting.  Like the bread lines of socialist countries in years past.
