I respect her for saying this. You dont impeach people just because you dont like their politics. These dems are just as wrong as the subset of pubs who wanted to impeach Obummer

I've said a few times, democrats need to get to work on strategies to legitimately beat Trump in 2020. There's nothing left to do about 2016 except learn from the mistakes, of which there were many. The longer they stay focused on why they think Trump shouldn't have won in 2016, the more likely 2020 is going to slip away too.

I think they better try to move things a bit more to the center. I think OAC, Omar and immigration are going to hurt them

I agree.  This move by Pelosi is a step in that direction....but it will cost her.....

Trump is a shoo-in for 2020. The Democrats do not have a strong candidate and Trump hasn't destroyed the country or started a nuclear war like so many thought. People will take 4 more years of Trump over anyone the Democrats come up with.

Trump has tried to do a lot of long overdue things. Now if someone woukd delete his tweeter acount and keep him on teack like the sotu address,  he would be even more awesome

I voted libertarian in 2012, but just could not do it in 2016  I reluctantly voted for Trump. I forgot who I voted for in the Primary.

1. Hillary could not be president by any means necessary.

2. The libertarian candidate was goofy, praised Hillary, and was basically open borders.

That only means that the swing to the left will be much more powerful. I don't think Trump will will win reelection, because he is just too polarizing for the country. He might remain popular with Republican voters, but that is a rapidly shrinking pool of likely voters.

Personally, I don't really care if another center right Democrat wins the presidency, I am actually more concerned with getting enough new Democrats elected to both houses of Congress, and state elections. This is the only way to realistic way to bring change to a system that is currently failing so many Americans.

I find it laughable that the likes of AOC and Bernie Sanders are being painted as some form of extremists, but nobody seems to know why they are extremists.

Short answer?  They are idiots.

As for your claim that there is in place a “system that is failing so many Americans”,  why am I today making more money than I ever have in my life, and so many more Americans are working and buying?

Who do you think can beat Trump? There is no strong Democratic candidate.

Elections are a while off yet. There is plenty of time to figure out which candidate will win the nomination. Also, just because you don't feel a candidate is a strong contender, doesn't really mean very much. Nothing personal, just that baby boomers will soon will soon loose their significance, and those replacing them maybe be more to change, than previous generations. We are at a turning point in history when people will need to decide if they wish to continue with the current failing system, or demand an alternative.

They sure don't seem to be heading in that direction at least at this point.  I think Rahm E. is even coming out saying it looks bad that the GOP is more eager to vote on some of the Democrat proposals than the Democrats do (Green New Deal, Impeachment, etc.).

Here is what I don't understand, Nancy says "I don’t think he’s fit to be president of the United States.", but then she says no to impeachment.  Seems like a contradiction to me.  If she truly believes he is unfit for the office, isn't it her political duty to pursue impeachment?
