Yay, I was waiting for you to post in the thread! Thank you for sharing your experience, this literally made me feel so much better about visiting. So you also petitioned from overseas (mentioned moving to Egypt)?

Thanks!!

Yes, Im filing from Egypt.I kinda have doubts that the mailed NOA1 will successfully make it, so I'm heavily relying on the email (or text..i provided my active American number) which I haven't received yet. And speaking of updates, the check has been cashed! Waiting for my bank to provide the scan so i can check the back of the check. Check the check!

I submitted a G-1145 too, but still nothing. Did they send an email along with the text message?

Well just to correct myself; USCIS electronically deposits the check, thus it seems that the physical check doesn't make it to your bank. Glad i called their

customer service after all!

Hi all!

Fellow March filer here.  I'm a USC, petitioning my husband from Australia.  Here's our timeline so far:

3/15/19: Sent via Priority Mail
3/18/19: Delivered to Phoenix Lockbox
3/22/19: CC Payment Processed
3/22/19: USCIS NOA1 Receipt via Text (Case routed to Texas Service Center)
3/27/19: USCIS Online Account Created (Email and Text Alerts enabled)
Pending: USCIS NOA1 via Mail (I-797)

Question for you all...  When I check USCIS processing times, that estimate is just for USCIS to approve the petition, right?  That's not the whole process, including the NVC steps.  Am I understanding that correctly?

Thanks!

Our ROC story so far...
1/3/2022: I-751 sent via USPS Priority Mail; delivered to Phoenix Lockbox 1/5
1/6/2022: CC processed for filing and biometric fees
1/7/2022: Received receipt # via text
1/15/2022:  Received NOA and 24-month extension letter
1/22/2022:  Received biometrics appointment letter
2/8/2022:  Biometrics appointment
10/2/2023:  SURPRISE!  We received the I-751 approval letter and 10-year green card without an interview.

Thanks, haven’t seen the acronym for the national benefit center before. The first 3 letters states what your service center is.
