Picking up Visa (Ghana)

Did anyone actually get a text or a phone call from DHL or the Embassy in Accra (Ghana) when their passport was ready for pickup?  If not what did you do or how did you follow up?

You need to update your profile per the detail given you after the interview. The update includes your email address and contact number. Takes between 3-4 weeks to get passport in hand from DHL. I received email from the embassy in the 3rd week after the interview but no text message.   Will be in DHL tomorrow since today is a holiday.

Noooo. am also waiting. i check from dhl yesterday and the guy said the last time they receive a immigrant (dv) visa from the embassy was on 29 january 2019.  

i dont no how true is this. please  has anybody receive any package since 29th.

I see your confused lol I havent recieved anything yet thats why I am asking and it has been in issued status for two weeks.

I had my interview on 14th Feb was on administrative process till 27th when it changed to issued. Recieved email on 5th March that the passport is ready for pick up

No it is not DV lottery so  you probably need to wait.  You will definitely be contacted via mail or text. I understand the anxiety of waiting. Keep praying

Was the email from DHL or the Embassy?

Good for you Ojo, mine also changed to issued on feb 27 but no email to pick up yet . It’s been 2 weeks after interview though so I guess the average time to pick up is the 3 weeks.

You can send them an email if you’ve waited over 3 weeks after interview. Once you’ve registered and created that profile on the link they asked you to then you just have to wait and keep your fingers crossed 🤞

Same boat with you . Issued status for two weeks on the CEAC . Let’s see next week God willing hopefully we will have it in hand 🖐.
