Hello there!!

I applied on 2-15-2019 (online), I got an email next day with the receipt notice and the Biometrics appointment. I already had biometrics on 3-07-2019. Now my case is processing.

im still waiting on my I-785, it’s been 14 months and the last update was on 2-05-2019 they transferred my case to another office (Nebraska). Now I’m just wondering if the N400 is going to take a long time because I have a pending case.

Hi all,

Filed N400 online March 6, 2019. Receipt notice 3/6/2019. And the biometrics scheduled on 3/25/2019 but still waiting for the letter in the mail. Goodluck to everyone

The biometrics appointment document finally appeared in Documents tab. Scheduled for 3/28, but plan to try to do a walk-in before that. Hopefully it works.

@Claudia & Thomas this thread is for March filers. There is a N-400 Feb 2019 Filer thread here.

Hi Everyone. I am from Chicago. I filed online 3/7/2019 and it got a receipt notice the same day, though the document was available online a couple of days later. I got a Biometrics appointment receipt on 3/8 and the appointment date was for 3/26. But I was not going to be able to go that day so instead of requesting a new date I just went there as a walk-in today 3/13 and they did my biometrics and they really didn't care about that I was 2 weeks early. My completion time was 15 months, after the biometrics it changed to 13 months. I'm hoping it won't take that long. I also want to recommend the Case Tracker for USCIS (I use it on Iphone). It gives you updates on your case when there is a change. I'm assuming my field office will be Chicago since I live there.

Wishing you all a speedy process :)

My husband did a successful early walk-in today to complete his biometrics at the Ft. Worth ASC. He said they were very friendly and he didn't even have to show his flight itinerary proving he'd be traveling during his scheduled appointment time.

Hey! The completion time is May 2020 (14 months) and the Estimate Wait time - 2 months. I believe it depends on your Field Office. And I am not sure if it's accurate. Because when I searh for the processing time on the USCIS website it says 4-11 months
