Hello everyone, I'm Chinese and now me and my fiancé are going to apply for K1 visa, but I'm so worrying about our love story might be a "red flag", i hope I can get some advises from people who kinda have the same situation as me. so I met my fiancé online in feb 2015, but I was engaged, so at that time I just treated him as an online friend, because of we have same hobbies and a lot in common, so we both got feelings for each other, this happened just 2 months before my wedding, I was very very sad and intense, I wanted to cancel the wedding, but all of my family and friends thought I was crazy, they told me I shouldn't cancel my wedding just because of man I only know for 2months and never meet him in-person. So, the wedding was still going on. I still married with my ex-husband. We both were sad and stopped talking and tried so hard to forget each other. Unfortunately, my marriage didn't go well, me and my ex- husband always argued, so in 2016, my fiancé came to china and visit me for the first time, we spent 1 week together, and we felt a strong love between us but also felt very guilty for the situation. And one year later in 2017, he visited me again, and at the end of 2017, me and my ex husband seperated and i moved back to china in May 2018( because of my ex husband was French, so we lived in France all the time). After I went to the US to visit my fiancé and also met all his family and friends, we spent 10weeks together, and then I came back to china again. My fiancé visited me the third time in October 2018 while my divorce was processing, because the international divorce takes a lot of steps, so I finally got the divorce paper at the beginning of 2019. So, yeah, this is my story, we really love each other very much, I know I made a super wrong decision, I shouldn't have married with my ex husband, but I really didn't know how to choose at that time. I wrote my story in the letter for the uscis. I'm so worrying about they might think I'm a bad moral person and deny our k1... would the officer concern about it? Can this be a "red flag"?

No red flags that would affect the approval of a visa based on what you wrote. Everyone has a "story".   As long as you are legally divorced and free to marry when you file the i129f is whats important.    The fact that you saw your fiance while you were still legally married wont be an issue.  IF it comes out at the interview just tell the truth.

Really don't stress. A lot of people on here are dating while getting divorced and then apply immediately after it's finalized. It happens. They won't judge you on that, they just want you to prove the legitimacy of your relationship with your fiance. that's key.
