Hi, im filling out my medical questionnaire, it asks for "case number". Im sure I have it but not sure which one it is. I have a receipt number on my I-797 called "receipt number" WAC12345678910 and a Beneficiary number : A234 567 789 (not the actual numbers of course!)

Im guessing its the 2nd one, my beneficiary number, but i want to make sure.

Hi! Your case number is the one that starts WAC. The A number is your alien number which will be common throughout the entire immigration process, until you naturalise as a citizen if that is your goal. :)

Sorry to just jump in on this thread but I have another question about numbers... Is there a country ID number?  My fiance and I were just looking at the application and we see a place for country ID number?  Does that not apply to British applicants?  Could that be the NHS number?

Thanks!

There is no such number for the UK. Do not use NHS number.

ah ok, so many numbers, wish it was made a little clearer !

Thank you !

Once you leave the petition stage at USCIS, your visa application is handled by the Dept of State (NVC and consulate). The Dept of State (NVC) gives you a case number for the the visa process based on the consulate where it will be processed. LND=London.

if you are overseas and filing for seas and filing for I-130 the case number is the number that was assigned to you by NVC.
