OK, I'm getting this same error message "something went wrong" with the following error ....

String or binary data would be truncated.
Please check the Data Entered by the Client.

I've tried several different browsers

I will just have my fiancé call Monday since I'm currently in the US.  Hopefully they will let her register over the phone.  The date is set but it's the registration part that's an issue.

Me too, same issue but the error is different. Below is the error message it shows.

Server Error in '/GCP_Online_Cebu' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

I might just go there on Monday foo if it's not a holiday since it's just near our place. I know right? It is really frustrating.

I finally got it to work now.  I live in the Philippines with my fiancé so in the Petitioner's section I put my Philippine address.  I changed it to my mother's address in the US and I was allowed to submit it and got that "bar coded" confirmation page.  Try to play with some of your entries and see what happens.

I hope on monday it changes and everything is back on track.... im reading about someone else that has been AP since january and they actually send her a document to fill out for an additional background check and her status is still AP....

That is boiler plate language for the AP notice, EVERYONE has their time in AP not all are required to submit any additional documents.   How long your case file is in AP is a depends thing .. as every application is different.

It can go from a couple hours to a couple months.   For most it is less than a week.

What Hank says is true, but if it was me, if the case does not "flip" to non-immigrant by the end of next week, I would be sending an e-mail to the consulate.

YMMV

Consulate is good about responding but it is typically 4 to 7 business days from when you sent

Emailing the embassy in regards to your status won't get much of a response.   Keep tracking on CEAC.  The other option is emailing USTRAVELDOCS the info is in at the bottom of the K-1 page on visaconnection

If I would have listened to advice that told me that emailing the consulate won't garner much of a response and was of little or no value then I wouldn't be sitting on an approved visa.

You were not inquiring about your visa status ...  like most are doing --  you know.. "Where is my visa?" "When will it be delivered?"    And for those type inquires my comment stands .. you won't get much of a response from the embassy.

Your situation was totally different .. I made no suggestions to you..  ;)      But if I had made any suggestions it would have been to contact the embassy and do just as you did.

As I recall I almost threw my Macbook Pro like a discus when trying to register her for CFO back in September.)))) I am glad to be done with it...

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.
