Fiancé just did interview for k-1 in London. Got a blue paper. Help?

So long story short, she went in for the interview this morning In London. The woman said she passed the interview, but they didn’t have her medical yet. She took my fiancé’s passport and handed her a blue form saying has been refused under section 221(g) addition administrative prossessing. Is it only because her medica isn’t there yet? We are concerned :(

if they kept the passport it is a good sign they need the medical only to process the visa, just need to be patient.

No, that is normal. They cannot approve the visa without the medicals, so the normal procedure is to refuse under 221g, until they receive the medical.

Yes, all visas either have to be refused or approved. Officially there is no such status as: "We're waiting for more information".
