I am not getting into the whole discussion about transexual's ability to serve. I am just saying that one moment he seems anti LGBT and the next he's all for it. I'm not buying it.

Is it he that shows anti LBGT tendencies, or is it a narrative put forth by the leftist media and the Democrats?

That is why it kind of feels more like a PR stunt. He, as far as I've seen, hasn't done anything to improve things for LGTB in the US and now he's going to tackle intolerance abroad... Great if it could happen but doubt it it will.

Would he be allowed to by the LGBT activists and leftist supporters?

If someone gave you something that could greatly improve your life would you say no just because you don't like the giver?

I wouldn't, but you are the one questioning his tactics here.  Why question them if it is a good thing?

What good has he done for LGTB people in the United States?

Btw, this counts as it would impact those from the LGBT community from this country that may travel to one of the more restrictive countries.

Exactly, he has done nothing because you couldn't tell me anything he has done. What has he done to the LGBT's detriment? He is expressing support in anti LGBT people such as adoption centers who refuse to adopt to LGBT, schools that refuse to accept LGBT parents and teachers. He has removed protections for Transexuals when it comes to: housing discrimination, shelter discrimination, where they go to prison (for example putting a transexual who identifies as a woman in a male prison) making them targets for sexual assault. He told the CDC they can't mention the word transgender. And apparently, according to Sarah Sanders, he is completely fine with business saying they will refuse service to gay people.

Oh really? Then why was the military the ones saying they were going to stall for as long as they could? I am not getting into the discussion about transitioning but this is factually wrong.

Military leaders say what they are told to say.  And for anyone to say that transitioning trans people do not detract from the military mission is obviously false.  LGBTs have been serving in the military for years, and it hasn’t been an issue, so I don’t think that argument will hold water.

So Trump is bad and gets no credit here.  Btw, what can he actually do in his position other than end the Title 9 stuff Obama started that said anyone could identify as any of the myriad of sexual identities and use any bathroom they wanted.

This thing good, but I guess you will pass it off as a political stunt which is just sad and means that it will most likely get almost no traction since most in the MDL including the biased press will be doin the same thing.   Here is a news flash, politicians do and say stuff to get votes, look at all the Dems that have come out for 2020, they are promising a free ride to almost everyone to buy votes regardless of the astronomical costs.

What good stuff did Obama or the Bush's do?  Or more importantly,  why should they do anything at all?  As long as all humans have equal rights, things are pretty much in order.

While I am not deep into the politics behind the LGBT community, I have LGBT friends who all seem to enjoy the same freedoms and benefits that I do.  What am I missing?

Other than pandering to a voting base, I don't really see ANY straight president caring much about what goes on in the LGBT community,  do you?
