EVA Air is a 5-star rated airline, so you would likely get high quality of service from them.  I understand your fiance's skepticism, though.  I couldn't believe their cheap prices too before I tried them out.  Now, I highly recommend them.  $640 all-in round-trip from MNL to SFO!  Whee!

Success.  We arrived in Hong Kong yesterday for our "vacation", having shown a return trip.  We are now at the gate waiting to board for SFO.  CFO scam averted.

Is it okay to do the cfo seminar at Cebu and get the sticker at their Davao office? I don’t  have my Visa on hand yet.  

I have flight going to Cebu next week and I don’t have our Visa and passport yet. 

One of my friend said it was okay to go without passport and Visa.

Yes, that is fine, you will have your certificate to present once you have your passport w/visa
