Hello folks:

We just had our interview, and i had some anxiety during the interview.  However i tried my best to appear calm, and i answered all the questions clearly and consisely.

My wife also did, and felt the same way i did, and she showed it a little, because her english is not the best. She and the interpretator tried their best to work together to understand the questions correctly and answer.

We answered everything correctly and didn't make any mistakes otherwiss.  Do you think feeling this way during an interview will affect anything?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Officers understand when you're nervous. I would think it's pretty normal. They're trained to see the difference between normal nervous and nervous because you're afraid to get caught in a lie. I wouldn't worry too much. If your marriage is real, you didn't withhold any info and nothing major happened between filing and the interview (like involvement in a crime or something) you should prob be good. Did the officer say anything about suggesting you for approval?

I think so, he said it looks good, but that the office is busy.

Then it's just a waiting game now. Some people get the response the same day, but I've seen a lot of stories lately that people are waiting 2-3 months for a decision. You can check your my.uscis.gov account for updates
