Were you informed it would be a dual interview or did you have to request an interview for both N400 and I-751?

I was not informed it would be a combo. I went with my wife and after a brief civic and writing test which i passed, I was told to go sit and that I would be called. Then 30 minutes later or so, my name was called, I walked in with my wife, then the IO interviewed us together. He asked my wife some questions which were meant for her alone to answer and same to me. He had our I-751 file in front of him and went through them and after that then reviewed my N-400 file with me. He didn't even ask for any more evidence that we already prepared and came with.

At the end, he printed a document that says Congratulations and he shook our hands. Silly me I asked him if that was a combo interview he just did, haha and he said yes and that he approved both of them and that I should be getting an Oath letter in about 3 weeks.

That is a good news , my interview is next month and I still have my I-751 pending , I'm hoping they will combine them.

Hopefully, I wish you all the best. My N-400 status currently says that they have mailed my oath ceremony 2 days after my combo interview. So excited.
