NOA1

Hi all!

 

I sent my petition to the Dallas Lockbox on February 5th and USPS tracker said it was received at the PO box on the 7th. I still haven't seen the filing fee amount come out of my checking account and its the 12th, of course two of those days were over the weekend. I know this step is supposed to be pretty instantaneous. From today its been a week since I've sent it, no NOA1 or anything. I did include a G1145.

It can take up to 2 weeks to hear anything from them. We never got any email, just a text message. Just wait it out. If you can't do 2 weeks, then 7.5ish month wait for the NOA2 will kill you.

Absolutely, be sure to fill in your timeline and update your account information so users can give you correct info.

You haven't waited long at all. They want you to give them 30 days, within those 30 days you will either have received your NOA1 or the package back in your mailbox.

weekend and holiday with no mail yesterday

 

get use to immigration as your journey will be "hurry up and wait"

need a lot of patience now as after you see the case number and checked is cashed,   it is months with no news

 

at this time just keep up the communication between you and keep it romantic and upbeat about life here

don't let the process  get to you

Hi Misotty! I received it by text first and then after about a week in the mail.
