Even if said box or bag is too small for said cat.

I've been watching this YouTube channel lately, it's a guy in Siberia who takes care of feral cats.

Me too! But she’s so stubborn and her brother from another mother (family) is a play hound......I was ecstatic that it wasn’t dysphasia (lived that nightmare before)

Got a question about ferrets..... I work with children (I mean A LOT of children) would they be good “classroom” pets or do do they stress out too much?

Oh I bet you were. 

 

Would they be kept in class? They need a lot of time outside the cage and can be pretty stinky. There are ways to help that but not something idea for the classroom. Now if you had one as a pet they could be taken to class with a leash and harness and most like would be ok with all the kids. Some are more nippy then others. I have one that I call jaws He's the one a few posts up. He's trouble maker. 

 

Now mice are awesome, they can be a bit skittish at first but they can be left alone. They don't need a lot of room or attention.

So far we have  2 rats, 3 guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, turtle, six parakeets, 12 gerbils (that were supposed to be all male....they were not....we ended up with 27 gerbils), 3 leopard geckos, and two corn snakes and a California King Snake. We had a bunny (which I absolutely Loved....she was mean to everyone but me). We have basically became the “no kill” shelter that everyone gives pets to. 

 

Are ferrets trainable? I would love to get a ferret.....and we have some very huge wall sized pet cages....do you think 2 would be better than one? Are they social animals?

Oh wow you have a great classroom.  Sounds like my house

Well I'm far from a ferret expert. I just started with them back in Sept. I did find out they make this stuff called Good bye odor and OMG it makes a huge difference with the stinky pop and musty smell.  They are a little trainable, I have ours litter trained and that makes it easier to to clean their cage and for the most part they will hit the boxes we have out for them when they run around the room. My husband has taught them to sit up for treats. They are sociable and do better with a buddy or 2 lol. The kids love them, they are just floppy rag dolls at times.
