Yes, you can apply after 90 days. I assume you married within 90 days or you'll need to add form I130.

Yes, you need money, the fee can't be waved.

Did you just find out about AOS and how much it cost? I mean, this is something you should have been prepared for.

You can read about the AOS here:

https://www.uscis.gov/i-485

Agree with Roel it's a bit scary you weren't prepared for this as a K-1 filer! Also, remember there will be ROC in the future.

Work permit and travel permit can be included with the AOS and the fees for those are waived when applied for with AOS

He means you the immigrant. You are out of status, can't work, get a DL (at least in most states) you can't travel outside the country and get back in and so on.

Just a FYI, I just filed mine and it's 1225.00. 1140.00 plus the 85.00 for the biometric fee. Don't short change USCIS, they will return your petition.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

No all is ok i have my K1 already

K-1 is only the visa for entering the US. After that you had 90 days to marry (which you did) but you have to file AOS. you didn't so you have no legal status here now os all is not ok.

No, you do not have to return to your country. If you leave you guys have to start all over again.

File for AOS as soon as you can!
