How memorable was your oath ceremony day?

Did you bring your entire family? Did you bring your friends? Did you take pictures? Did you have a celebration party back home afterwards? Did you let all your coworkers know you're a citizen the following work day? Do you still remember your interviewing officer's face when he/she said "sir/maam, you're approved to be a citizen, we shall schedule you now for your oath ceremony?"

hi

no as well, I was by myself, it was a work day, I had taken the day off because I didn't know how long it was going to last,

It was only 45 minutes, it took longer to sit down and wait until everyone was seated, there was over 100 in little place and before you knew it, it was over.

My co-workers knew I was taking the oath ceremony and they decorated my cubicle with flags

It totally depends on you. When I naturalized, I took my spouse, child and in-laws. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony very much. My family took a lot of pictures and afterwards we celebrated by going out to lunch. The ceremony meant a lot to me and my family. My coworkers had a little celebration for me at the end of the next work day as well.
