Hello everyone .

First thanks for the effort made by each one of you to help others ,I come across this website during a deep research ,and I'm happy to be here .

Well my story is long but I will try to make is as simple as possible .

I've meet a lady online we find out that we are looking for the some things in life we decided to marry , she was from San Juan Peurto Rico and me from Casablanca morrocco ,she visited me we spent the best days of my life together ,she start the process with the k1 visa ,after couple months I got my Visa I left everything  and I went to start a happy life with her and her 8 years old daughter and her mom , her mom didn't like me from the beginning , I said to my self she will get to know me and she will treat me good , she will change , it's sounds that she didn't like to see her daughter and granddaughter happy with either.

I was convincing my self that things will change , but it's getting worst and worst ,I did everything I can to please my mother in law but she was never satisfied , after that even my wife start to change her behavior her daughter too , I ask her why , if there's anything wrong ,she said no, after that lot of issues happened I try to talk to my wife and try to understand why all this is happening and to fix this issues she refuse ,and she start to be distant and not carrying at certain point her mother want us to divorce , at that time my wife was pregnant , and she was depressed we decided to avoid more trouble I go back to Morrocco for a while and I get back , when I arrive here she changed completely and she ingnred me and she start a divorce because she was pregnant I didn't want to do anything against her after she gave birth to my son she refuse that bwe come together and she is finalized the divorce , I didn't get a green card I didn't pass the interview I only got a work permit .

My question is what can I do to go back to the USA and be near to my son?

There is any kind of visa ?

What's my options do I have .

Thanks for your time and answers

You never got advanced parole? Just the work permit? If so, you have been deemed as abandoning your AOS and there is no option to come back that route. Fix things with her and reapply as spouses, or get a tourist visa to visit. right now those may be only options.

When you divorce before you get your conditional green card your AOS unfortunately will be denied since you don't meet the requirements of being married to a USC anymore.

What I've read on the USCIS website is the only way to obtain a GC via your child is if you're the parent of a U.S. citizen who is at least 21 years old. I don't think there is another way to be close to your son except visiting on a tourist visa, but moving here doesn't seem an option. Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong!

Sorry that you have go through this, I wish you all the best.

Unfortunately not. You can find more info via https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/eligibility-categories
