Some websites state that USCIS got a new policy I think somewhere in 2017 that if you travel on a valid AP while you have a new AP application pending, the new application will be considered abandoned. This is all info from Google, not the USCIS website itself, since the instructions USCIS posted were from 2016 and I couldn't find a news article confirming the new policy. See https://orr-reno.com/uscis-announces-change-policy-advance-parole-travel-documents/ for the article of the new policy (again, not a statement from USCIS)

I think your best bet is to call USCIS ahead of time to confirm what there policy is. Also, if they say you won't abandon your pending AP when you travel with your current AP, make sure to get that in writing.
