I came to the USA on K1 visa on January 24th. Just got married on Feb. 3. Before our marriage ceremony ,I found out my new last name is wrong but we didn't get time to fix it. I take my husband's last name it's "Mann". My last name is "Ting" so my new last name should be (Ting Mann) instead of "Mann Ting". We went to the court house, they said we needed to go on their website to fill out the form, get it printed out then bring it back to the court house to get a record. It'll cost 435 US dollars and delay more time for my AOS.Does anyone know if I can get it fixed when I send out my documents for AOS

I don't know if it's ok to use the wrong last name now.

Thank you in advance

If the incorrect last name was due to clerical error then you can go back to the county office and ask them to fix it.

I'm not sure if it's not to the clerical error .My husband forgot his last divorce date so I stopped my typing on the computer then went out to call my daughter to find out the document. Then I came back to the office, a lady was there to help my husband with the form. I checked the final one but didn't notice this mistake on the marriage licence and certificate. The certificate has been filed now so we can only go to the court to get a record.
