So after the interview on the 17th of January, it took exactly a week and a day for the visa to be issued (Printed) and another two weeks to be sent to the dhl office. I got the message on Wednesday evening and went for it on Thursday 7th Feb, making exactly 3weeks after the interview.

 

Finally i have it in hand. Glory to God. Its been a long hard and anxious journey but it has taught us much.

 

For all those waiting, surely it will come. Thanks to y'all for the information and encouragements. One of my friends here is leaving today Friday the 8th. So happy for her. You know yourself.....lol. Congratulations.

Hello  was wondering if your son has received his visa from dhl? If so how long did it take?

Yes, he has received it. It took two weeks 4 days for him to receive it after the interview

Can u tell me how many months visa he got? I'm hearing some are non getting two months instead of six

I dont know the category of visa you are applying for. I'm a Us citizen and my son was born in Ghana normally it takes a year for the whole process. I filed his application on December 15th, 2017,  uscis approved in June 2018. Nvc scheduled interview on 17th January. He got the visa just last week Friday 8th

Hi guys, I got approved two weeks ago, my status changed from AP to issued within two days after interview. I've been tracking my visa via ustraveldocs and it changes from your document is with the US consulate to document delivery information and since then I've not got any update yet. Has anyone been through a similar situation? Can anyone advise me on that? Thank you.
