Not necessarily., because every time I have been admitted to the hospital, they HAVE to copy my military ID card.........it also serves as a Tricare card....

It happens but they are not supposed to. You can present it but they should not photocopy it.

"This law does NOT apply to medical establishments like hospitals and doctor’s offices who are allowed to make a copy for filing insurance claims. It also doesn’t apply to other government agencies that are using the copied ID to perform official government business."

Even if that's the case, it's not a valid proof of citizenship as per the instructions, so while you've agreeably touched a gray area, it's still moot to the OP's point of use.

How is it incorrect?? It literally says it's in direct violation of its use. The OP is not wondering if they can show their ID at the hospital. They are wondering if adding it as proof of citizenship will help, which no it wouldn't because it's not one of the required documents.

 

It IS illegal to copy a military ID and in this case the USCIS is not asking for a copy of it. The holder of it is willingly providing it, which could backfire.

 

Just because you found an exemption does not make the entire statement "inaccurate information". Carry on.

I agree 100% that a military ID can not be used to prove citizenship.  However, I don't think it is a violation of the law for a person to personally copy and provide it to another government agency for government use......just my opinion.

What is there to be safer than sorry?  The reference in the instructions for "all" pages was removed almost 2 years ago

Will providing all the pages to her passport get her a denial? Or are you concerned for the waste of paper? If not, then I don’t know why you’re pressing the issue. OP can do what they please, but anything can happen in this visa journey, so I said what I said. 🤷🏾‍♀️
