That's an awful specific request

Agree; if it's possible for OP @Talk2me to upload the RFE for us to see. Maybe, it could be a matter of wording - my wild guess.

I’m no expert on this matter but you should seek counsel from a lawyer on how to handle this situation. If you can’t provide the information that USCIS is requesting, don’t tell them that you don’t have it, that’s not a good idea.

I sure do appreciate the fact that you preface your statement with, I'M NO EXPERT" because this is horrible advice.  If you don't have what they are asking for you must tell them that you don't have it, can't get it, etc...  You can't just go willy nilly along and pretend to have everything when you don't.  RULE #1 WHEN DEALING WITH GOVERNMENT: NEVER LIE OR OMIT ANY INFORMATION.   David

@Talk2me Did USCIS specifically say ID showing same address ? Or did they say provide evidence both of you live at same address? If's the latter, then I think you should have more options.

Yes, it goes like this: Copies of you and your spouse's driver's licenses and or identity cards from the appropriate state's motor vehicle department.

My husband and I don’t have the same address on our ids but we do have bills with both our names addressed to us. Also USS_Voyager brought up good points. Search the forum and connect with those members and see what information you can get. Good luck

Thank you.

There’s nowhere in my response where I said to withhold any information. If she doesn’t have it and can’t produce it, I suggest her seeking help from an expert vs responding to USCIS that she can’t provide what they are asking.

Since most of you here are experts in responding..direct your responses to the person who actually needs some help. Thank you and have a good one.

Do you have any contact information for him at all?  Work or home address?

I’m only asking because I think divorce papers need to be personally served, which means you would need a physical whereabouts.

I agree with everyone else.  Respond to the RFE.  Provide what you have, explain why you don’t have other items.

Good luck.

Thanks the only place I know he could be is his mother's place. That's where I'll send divorce papers to. If he isn't there, then am out of options.

Hello every one,

I met my USC spouse in summer of 2014 and he proposed to me on his birthday in Jan,2015 we go married two days later.

We didn't do nothing much because we were young and in love and didn't have money to do something huge. We filed for adjustment of status 3 months later. Fast forward to me getting my 2yrs conditional green card. During the two years the marriage was on the rocks but we tried to work things out and filed joint I-751 in Sept.2017. Marriage is still shaky and my USC left without my knowledge. I can't get in contact with him and his family asked that I work things out with my husband and they dont want to be involved in our marital problems. We have lived apart for 7 months and I can't reach him at all. Its Jan,2019 I got RFE. Should I tell USCIS that am about to file for divorce? And we closed some of our joint accounts.

Please help. Thank you.

Good luck to you.   I'm afraid I'm about to be in the same boat.

As long as it adheres to the corresponding jurisdiction's service of process laws then it's good: https://www.hg.org/legal-articles/what-is-service-of-process-34098
