Ah, ok.  You have two timelines then.  The EAD will not require an interview.  If everything continues as it has been, you'll likely get your EAD approval in another week or two.  My EAD didn't change from "case received" until it went to "card being printed".

 

My 485 shows the same as yours.  Not sure when that'll get updated.  Things are moving very slow on that.

I know your partner was on a B2, but how long was the visa? 10 year?

He is the B2 equivalent but didn't have a formal B2 issued due to the VWP with Canada.  His passport was sufficient.
