Canadian Jan 2019 Case Complete

Hello folks. I checked last week with NVC about Interview but could not get much info from the agent. She just told me to wait and it can take several months depending on the rush in consulate.

Hey! I received  notice for our interview. It's scheduled for 3/11/2019 @ Montreal consulate. Hopefully y'all hear soon as well!

Congrats! What is your case complete and priority date?

NVC accepted docs 1/15/2019 (so I guess that's case complete?) and priority date is late November 2017, don't remember exact date off the top of my head.

So how the priority date works, if you're not F2A/B.... 

If you and someone else have a case complete on the same day, but their priority date is before yours, then they get an interview first.  Technically they've been waiting longer.

I still have not got any update about interview from NVC. My case complete date is 14-Jan-2019 and Priority Date is 30-April-2018. I called NVC and they said they will book the interview once they get from consulate. Many people got their interview dates last week. Should I be worried?

I don't know. I have no idea what the time frames are currently on Montreal interviews.

Hello Everyone!

I just joined. My priority date was Oct.18, 2017 & I was Documentarily qualified on Feb.15, 2019. I haven't received any interview date yet. MK2803....I hope, you will hear from NVC soon though your priority date is 6 months after me. I have no idea how NVC schedule Montreal US Embassy IR5 category visa interview.

Yea its so weird. Another user @boudica has similar timline like yours with Priority date in Nov 2017 and Case Complete date Feb 15, 2019   . The interview date for @boudica is March 11, 2019. Unfortunately we can’t do anything expect wait at this stage. I called NVC couple of days back and they just gave standard reply that NVC books appointment once available from Consulate.
