One of those where you wonder what the real deal is but you know you will never find out.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

He already did long ago....internet.

I bet his moves are all planned and even even knows about AOS. Why else is he insisting to come over ASAP? Will not be surprised if he has all AOS papers ready to submit by day 2 of being on US soil.

Your friend just got trapped.

I was waiting for these "asking for a friend threads." Lemme gather my popcorn.

I hope you're not insinuating that it's me! If so what since does it makes for me to be inquiring about a tourist visa when i can do a withdrawal of my IR-1/CR-1 petition? Some people are legitimately are asking for a friend.

There are NO invitation letters for tourist visas.  That is a myth.  And it is very unlikely given this entire scenario that he will receive a B-2 visa.

Thank you, you confirm my thoughts. I told her he is lying about this tourist visa. I've have been going through the process for almost a year now and i have gained a lot of insight as well as experience and I know it's just not that easy to get to file and get an interview within 1 months time.

My thing is how did she think it was an engagement certificate? It says on the top in big black letters "certificate of marriage"

Once she seen it and was signing the certificate she knew but like i said he told her it's not an official marriage it was an engagement and that's how they do it in Ghana. LOl. She doesn't want to face the fact that they are married.

Just a light moment. We get a considerable amount of them here. Do not take it to heart.

Maybe he already has the tourist visa and just needs the invitation letter to show to CBP officer as to the reason for his trip. This guy should not surprise you anymore..

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

No invitation letter needed, never heard of one being asked for at the Port of Entry.

that is not the only funny statement]

the one where the man from Ghana sends her money

you can  not send money to the USA from most African countries

and sorry but most in  ghana (like Morocco) do not have a job

the average income is now $2,200 considered  now a middle income country

Let me say this. They have put me in the middle and they both confides in me (SMDH) how he sends money is through his friend that is already in the US. He comes from a family that has very good businesses in Ghana and he has a nice job also. I'm only giving you all just 5% of all that has taken place since i met them both. This story would really amuse everyone!! As one VJ member said, you could sit back and eat popcorn reading about them. He actually told me and my husband that he doesn't want to come to the State anytime soon to live. He loves his country and his family to much to leave. Also might I add he alway talk badly of the US.

Please stick to factual information. Don’t assume because Ghana is a poor developing country you can say anything negative about the country and it will turn out to be true.

Every unemployment report you can find about Ghana on Google puts the unemployment rate between 3% to 5.5%. So most Ghanaians have a job, even if their wages are low. The unemployment rate is low.

Quote

https://tradingeconomics.com/ghana/unemployment-rate

Unemployment Rate in Ghana increased to 2.40 percent in 2017 from 2.30 percent in 2016. Unemployment Rate in Ghana averaged 5.41 percent from 1991 until 2017

Ghanaians face enough challenges without adding nonexistent ones.

I am not in this world to live up to your expectations,

Neither are you here to live up to mine.

I don't owe no one no obligation
So everything is fine, fine

I said, I am that I am I am, I am, I am

That bad talk will decrease when above the Atlantic and will certainly cease when he picks up his luggage from the carousel.

You are asked why you are visiting.

So no proof is needed as to why you are visiting? Just asked.

Thanks.

Will not be writing any more invitation letters.

They are more interested in when you will be leaving.
