Nothing to worry about. The fact they have your passport is good.

The card I got at interview said 'Please allow 7-10 working days for your application to be processed'

10 days would be the 25th from your interview. You should stop worrying!

I didn’t get a card

Hi sent a question to the embassy today and got the mostly standard response below just concerned about the words “additional administrative processing”  is this normal or is the additional something to be concerned about

I think you have something "additional" being done or you would have been issued or at least changed to non-immigrant by now (7 days after interview). I don't think it means there is a concern since the interviewer had no concerns or probing questions. It's just taking longer.

I’m extremely anxious about it 😰

Just rolling my eyes at the fact it’s a public holiday not at you 😊

I understand because you have been anxious about everything, but checking 10 times a day and emailing them won't speed it up.  How about learning all about AOS while you wait. Start filling out the forms and reading page after page of the AOS forum. Then you won't have to ask the same questions or make the same mistakes they report.  Dive in to your next process to take your mind off the visa.  My AOS/EAD/AP applications were 95% done before my arrival so we could marry asap and get the applications mailed.
