Strikes me that there are slightly more important things needing her attention.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

“Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate,” Trump wrote.

One of the best things he has said lately.  In fact, I wish he would take it a step further and withhold all of Congress’ salary until the budget is resolved.

Trump loses support among his core voting groups as the shutdown drags on, polls say

  • President Trump is hemorrhaging support amid a political standoff over his proposed border wall that has resulted in the longest government shutdown on record, recent polls show.
  • The president even appears to be losing favor with his core constituents.
  • The poll results come as multiple Democratic lawmakers announce 2020 bids to challenge Trump.

Polls say.  I remember when polls said there was no way Trump could win the presidency.  I don’t put much faith in polls, personally.  Especially since no one has ever asked my opinion in one.

90% chance Hillary wins

What I don’t really understand is how the Dem/leftist leaders in Washington have been so consumed with hatred over one person.  Heck, they could get so much if they took a step back and really negotiated, citizenship for DACAs, probably even DAPAs, etc., but the hatred of all things Trump which has been fueled from day one by the Leftist media is amazing.

As to Trump canceling Pelosi’s junket, it was the right thing to do.  If President Trump headed overseas on AF1, the leftist media would be up in arms and we would see them double down on the pain and suffering of the furloughed federal employees.  Of course with Pelosi, et al’s trip, we wouldn’t have even heard about it except for Trump’s actions.  I know the press doesn’t mention it, but except for Trump’s trip to the Texas border with Mexico (where Jim Acosta showed us barriers actually work), I don’t remember him leaving Washington since the shutdown began.

I would be considered 'Core" and he hasn't lost my support nor anyone else I know, the all support him.

You can't believe in polls, and then you have the anti trump CNBC reporting it,

Didn't you learn a lesson after the polls predicted Hillary was going to win the Presidency by a landslide?  I sure did
