You ever notice anyone who just has a tinge of minority in them always claims that as their race?  Obama is just as white as he is black, but I never heard him saying he was white.

Exactly.  If being white is a privilege,  then why do so many do all kind of hoop jumping to claim minority status. Pochotos Warren comes to mind

I really like listening to him on Sirius because he is pretty straight forward. I never knew that he was black until he said it one day as an off the cuff comment.

Interesting that Occasional-Cortex grew up in Westchester county, NY.  Not the Bronx as she tries to claim. For those not in the know, Westchester is one of the most affluent areas in our nation.  She came from money and privilege.  Shame on her for trying to portray herself as a poor barista.

I believe her father was a CEO or owner of an architecture firm.

 

As to the OP SNAFU, Ms. Martin certainly did not waste anytime throwing "her people" under the bus, and she absolutely learned nothing from her gross error.
