I will definitely be taking that way from this, and starting a "Removal of Conditions" file in our filing cabinet alongside its cousins, I-129 and I-485. :)

Ha! My husband and I turned a pocket office off our den into the Immigration And Holiday Decorations Room.   Left side - Christmas/Halloween stuff, right side is boxes and boxes of immigration paperwork, pictures and binders.     I broke my twerking Santa on the way to find my divorce decree.  :oops:It's messy but festive :P

To the OP: When we submitted our ROC paperwork, it was a 2 inch binder and placed in a recycled Amazon Prime box.  I did every other month on bank and credit card statements.  You do what you gotta do.   You got this now I think :)

They didn't list those as something they received in the RFE. I would send them again.

If there is anything you sent that ISN'T listed in the RFE, resend it.

I agree. I did send so many things that weren't mentioned on my RFE letter. So resend what they didn't mention on the letter.

Got approved in December 2018.

Good luck!!! Enjoy your trip. (And like VJ friends mentioned collect as many evidence before you leave)

Don't forget that the "worst case scenario" right now isn't denial. They'd call you for an interview first, if they didn't like the RFE response. So don't overly sweat it.

We pay for the conEdison bills, but the name is my dad's name. I gonna call conEdison to change to our name.

We have joined checking account, submitted 8 months' statement. It said 8 months is not enough. I will submit all 4 yrs banking statements.

I also submitted the statement from Geigo says that I am "listed as drivers and /or named insureds for the referenced policy". We live in the city, I use public transportation most of the time. I only drive occasionally. My husband drives the car most of the time.

Nothing you change now matters.

If you are driving you have shared car insurance.  Go back to when you were added and get every single proof of insurance from that time.  Geico has you and him listed as drivers on the sheet you have to keep in your glove box as proof and those are dated.

Health insurance:  get the date he enrolled you in health insurance/dental/vision and copy the cards.

Get the beneficiary documents for life insurance (the change is time-stamped, HR can help)

Get the beneficiary documents for 401k/retirement and the date he changed them

You’ve already sent proof of joint credit card accounts.  Send em again

We sent in bank statements going all the way to when she got a SS card, about 3-4 months after entry.  Not all of them.  The first two, a couple dated about 6 months later, and so on.  With them we copied out joint debit cards and sent in a blank check with a big X through it that had both of our names.

What “normal” couples do:  when they get married all of these benefit changes happen during the 30-day window after the marriage.

We can easily take care of parents since we live together.

I don't think you understood my point.  I mean that it is unusual for an adult married couple to still live with parents 7 years into a marriage, rather than having your own home and utilities, etc.  That might raise questions at your interview.

Lol! Our office has basically been turned into the same over the last couple years! Every time it's come time to prepare for the next step, papers have been strewn all over the floor and all available surfaces for at least a week  Getting it organized and managed into a filing cabinet definitely relieved a bit of my OCD and anxiety, for sure. But come ROC time, I know we will be dragging it all out again :P At least we know where it is!

Håll ut, y'all.

It is unusual, but it isn't unheard of. I don't think USCIS will find much of an issue with it if she gets the documents that they asked for.

I cannot believe this thread is still going. Seemed pretty straightforward.
