So my fiancé had the interview. Everything went well but she was told to submit more documents. The next day she submitted it along with her passport to the place that they send the passport after you get approved. How long does it usually take for an answer?

In general I've seen approvals within a couple weeks of a successful response to the 221(g).  If they asked for the passport you are in good shape.  It will happen soon.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I have been hearing that those aren’t as easy to get because of the shutdown. Your sponsor will have to get those for you.

Yeah my sponsor has to try doing it online. We literally gave everything. Even the receipt stating how much he paid the IRS for 2017 and let me tell you that it’s not a low number.

You're not going to get a tax transcripts as that portion is shutdown of the IRS. So, paper copies will need to be made and submitted. Right now that is the only way you can get through this or wait for the shutdown to disappear.

We had a similar situation. We needed an additonal police certificate which we submitted two days ago to Moscow.

Now on CEAC we are "issued" and the passport is available for pickup. Is it possible that they moved this fast?

I think so since when we submitted more documents, they sent it back to the place you pick up the passport within a day. Now that we sent the remaining document that was needed, I think they will give us an update soon even though they said up to 5 days

ais.usvisa-info.com still says send documents but the tracking number shows that the embassy already received the documents. Why wouldn't they update the current status?
