Nola... he is essential so he's working.  Just no pay unless this dumb thing ends by Monday.  We can go a couple months.  Navy federal is offering interest free personal loans if we have to go that far.

Hubs will likely never come over to the tidy side.  He gets bored after a time and stops and never looks back.  But he won't get an indoor gym without this.

Oh how I relate to this !! Married for 43 years to one who gets projects 70 % completed and moved on. Always has about a dozen things on the go all at the same time ... but has amazing skills to fix everything from microwave oven , cats appliances etc so I need to be circumspect. Preparing to immigrate to the US 3 years ago...  for the second time in our life  .. workshops 20x30 AND 20x10... full up .. he decided to start working through the 25 years of accumulation about 3 weeks before the house was to sell and we were leaving ... no words describe my stress levels ... needless to say he finally acknowledged he had underestimated the task ... doh !!! Aaargh !!!

I'm sorry T-B.  I hope the kids aren't still young.

That is rough. I really hope they end it soon, for everyone's sake.

Soooo, my hair was a slightly darkened Alpine Green, but I decided to shampoo it quite a few times to get the color out. I think I'm going to need to bleach bath it to get it just a touch lighter on the upper half. That green is not budging at all.

The question becomes whether to go purple again or try and actually do a proper non-box red this time. They'll both do fine over a lightened green, but the red is more maintenance and it gets everywhere. But, it'll be more "professional" looking.

Your hair gonna fall off you keep shocking it with all these chemicals...

It is fine. The dye I use doesn't have any peroxide in it - it is deposit only.  I might try and shampoo it out some more first.

Most women I know dye their hair this often at a salon.  😉

Speaking of hair... my barber, after cutting my hair for 4 years at $20 a pop, finally offered that I have good hair despite the pretty severe widow's peak up front. At least I don't have one of those bald spots in back like cloistered monks or my younger brother.
