If you have the email from nvc, go ahead with the medical

I have my MNL#, but I haven't gotten the official notice from the NVC. I did get a reply back from ASKNVC that has our information and MNL#, it says this at the top of the email, "You will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General." <Can we use this email for the medical? or should we wait for official notice of forwarding?

A few people have said they were successful.  Your file will ship next Tues/Wed which is when you will get the "official" notice

YMMV

I guess its worth waiting..... I just want to snag a interview date in February before they go away because I know we will have everything done by then.

You don't need the medical done to get an interview scheduled.  You can set up your profile, prepare the DS-160, pay the fee with what you have.  You cannot schedule the interview until your ceac status says ready.  If your file ships by Wednesday, expect "ready" status by the 28th

Even though this is the unofficial notice? Just a follow up with the MNL# on it stating the above? Cause when I track my petition at the NVC it still reads, ‘at NVC

This isn't email reply to your MNL# request?   Ahhhh      Did you submit an email request?

What is all listed on that email?  MNL, beneficiary name?

I would think that would work fine for SLEC.  That has the same info as the other email (except for the case file hasn't shipped)

This is what i have too, and i really want to do the medical soon but the status is still at NVC. But i got an email exactly like this. I’ve set an appointment already for next week. Do you think its okay to do the medical even the case status is still at NVC?
