Question guys, my timeline says noa2 by Jan 19, is it possible that this time can be exceeded? I called today to check on the status since I saw many approvals from before and after my noa1 date and they say it can take up to 7 months. My timeline is showing the 19th like I said, what do you guys think?

Of course it can be exceeded.   Some from May and before are still waiting

Ok but I am comfused, if that's the case then does that mean they jump around with no real order?

it's a mistery VJ forum has not ciphered out still, lol. VJ dates are an estimate.

No, some simply take longer to adjudicate

Can you explain what you mean please? Aren't all visas , especially for the same country and same service processed the same. What makes others be processed sooner and others longer?

Think of it like the lines in a grocery store. Some employees work the register quicker than others. Some people have fewer items to process. Some have questions. And so on.

The petition is primarily about the USC.  Some background checks take longer,  some have criminal history,  some who knows why

don't stress. the process through immigration is not an easy path, no matter what type of visa. Relax, do your research and be prepared.

It took us 6 months to receive NOA2.

CR1 and it took us 7months, VJ timeline prediction was accurate!

you have been waiting for months so couple weeks won't hurt   incha Allah everything will be good

Thank you, I am just concerned because I left out something in the original application and mailed it in a week after they received my initial application, I was told by them to mail it in with case # and fedex delivery confirmation which I did but part of me is still worried that they never attached it to the file . I hate this process, having someone else in control over my future, I have never been thru something so difficult as this and feeling like a guinea pig or a fish out of water. Anyway, I hope this ends soon and with a favorable outcome because I am not sure I can handle this anxiety long term.
