What app is that? I know uscis has official website case trackers but wasn’t aware they had any apps? What does your actual case status online say? https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

"USCISApp" is its name. That and "Case Tracker" are the 2 most well known apps for tracking cases.

Both are unofficial and just scrape the data from the URL you posted. The app in the screenshot above also appears to retain data on the results for use in finding similar case status updates.

@OP

Also, check the newer case tracker: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

This is the app. I found in App Store. May be not real app but I don’t know. In online it says as received only and mine is 2018 pd so I have long wait. Just curious to know this app. So posted.

Hi @Gayathri, firstly thanks for sharing that app. I just downloaded it and added my case too.

It does, however, feel like the approval is for all cases under a particular type of case, meaning not just in the field office one is expecting the interview at. That could really be misleading in certain cases like N400, where Ohio has 4 months processing time but California is about 11 months. On the other hand, it would be great for applications like EADs which don't necessarily require interviews and are handled centrally, in that case, one can trust the timeline.

I don’t really understand why you would download a non official app when the uscis case status page will have the exact info for your case?

There is no official USCIS app. All USCIS case tracker apps available are privately created.
