IDK  I think they want a Filipino number.   I think they just want it incase they have to cancel the appointment or something,  I asked my wife and she said they never called her about anything.    She did the class before getting the visa.  It was pretty easy.

The reason they want a phone number is that they hand pick those that CFO wants to call once you are settled in the US to insure you are doing OK and that you don't have any issues that they can intervene. Know one know why they choose some and not others. So, if you would like to give your finance's that fine or a friend/family member that knows how to get in touch with you once you are in the US.

Really?

Has there been a report of CFO calling anyone in the USA?

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

Yes, there have been some but of course you don't hear it much since most who are in the AOS stage are pretty much non existent on VJ. So it can be rare but it does happen. I would think that it is either random or it may be for a case that was passed that was iffy and they want to follow-up. Or maybe the call results are a "yardstick" by which CFO measures the effectiveness of their program. I have not confirmed any of the reasons why, just my opinion.

Hello!

Quick question. I have my CFO scheduled on Monday the 7th and the USEM interview on the 24th. I am still able to complete the GCP even if my interview is set on a later date - correct?

Also, I read somewhere that if you haven't gone through the interview yet then they wouldn't issue the certificate - is this the case for all?

Thanks!

Yes.  You will get the sticker after you have the Visa in the passport.   This will require a second visit to CFO or get it at NAIA CFO desk if departing from Manila

Hi!

Should it be the "certificate" first (if you don't have the visa yet) and then the sticker?

I am referring to one case wherein they went to the CFO but since they haven't been interviewed at the USEM the certificate wasn't issued since there is no assurance that they will be approved.  Below is the post of @Pbchief2 on another thread.

CFO issues....

The lady that was assigned to her says she thinks she forgot her paper work at the Clark satellite office.  When she took the seminar she had told her she would not issue the certificate since there was no guarantee she would pass the interview. Now CFO May have misplaced the paperwork. We'll find out Wednesday at Clark.

So my worry right now is I may have the same issue/concern as the one listed above.

:)
